The 2027 Pan American Dragon Boat Club Crew Championships (PACCC 2027) will be held in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil, from March 29 to April 4, 2027. Organized by the Pan American Dragon Boat Federation (PADBF) in partnership with the Confederação Brasileira de Dragon Boat, this landmark event marks the first time the Championships will take place in Brazil.
Set against the vibrant coastal backdrop of Salvador, PACCC 2027 will bring together teams from across the Americas for a week of world-class competition, cultural exchange, and continental celebration of the sport.

Team Eligibility Requirements
Here are the key criteria to participate in PACCC 2027:
• Club Eligibility: The team must represent a legitimate dragon boat club.
• Athlete Eligibility: Athletes must be bona fide members of the club for at least 2 months before the first day of competition.
• National Federation Endorsement: Clubs must be endorsed by a National Federation (PADBF Member).
Countries Without a Member Federation
Clubs may apply directly to PADBF for authorization to participate.
Why 2 Months?
For PACCC, the 6-month club eligibility rule used in IDBF World Championships is reduced to 2 months. This exception supports clubs from distant and developing member federations to join and grow our sport.

• All teams, athletes, and officials must comply with IDBF Competition Regulations, the PACCC Bulletin, and all event requirements.
• Sportsmanship, respect, and team spirit are what make our community strong.
• PADBF reserves the right to verify eligibility and request additional documentation if needed.
